Let God Fix It

Good morning everyone and hope you’re doing well. Earlier today as I was taking my wife to work, I noticed a vehicle on my right side stopped at a stop sign. We noticed that the front end was just a little bit too much out into the road. As a matter of fact, if it had been out just a bit more, I would have had to swerve to miss from hitting it. The eye catcher came when we noticed that there was grey tape on the front bumper from where it was damaged before.

My wife told me that between the front end of the car sticking out too much, and the tape holding the bumper together, that the gentleman did not learn from his mistakes before.

We really don’t know why the gentleman decided to put gray tape on the front of the bumper instead of getting a professional to fix it, but I’m sure he had his reason.

Ask Christians, we find ourselves doing the same thing in that when we have something broken in our lives, instead of taking it to the Lord, who can fix it, we tried to fix it ourselves. We tried to patch it up with a temporary fix only for the problem to surface again at a later date.

I remind myself often in scripture about Jeremiah saying that nothing is impossible with the outstretched arm of God.

The day that I got saved, I realize that I was so broken, and that there was no chance of repair for me, and then I met Jesus.

The Lord Jesus took the brokenness of my life and fashioned me into his image and because of it I am now heaven bound with the hammer down.

Are you trying to fix something in your life on your own that you are sure is unfixable? Why don’t you just give it to Jesus and let him fix it for you? In our humanity, we may tell ourselves that the problem we are going through is impossible, even with God, but that is a lie from the devil.

If you are a child of God, then I plead with you to let go and let God have it. When we are pushed in a corner and can’t find our way out, then that is when God steps in.

And I want to say here that if you have never been born into the family of God, then to you, I say, let go and let God.

The Lord Jesus will do for you what no one else has ever done for you and what you cannot do for yourself. He will give you grace, peace, joy unspeakable and full of His Glory. You can trust God. He will change your life and give you a home in Heaven.

My encouragement to you today is simply this: stop trying to fix everything yourself and let God handle everything from the beginning to the end. God will never fail you. God will never leave you and he will never forsake you.

May God bless you and I love you to the next time!
