Cancellation:
Unfortunately, effective the middle of August, I will have to cancel my website because I am finding it hard to pay for it. Forgive me in advance and I hope I have been a help to someone along the way. God bless.
Keep on the firing line for our God:
Everything the Lord has done for us when we got saved, Satan continually tries to undo… to no avail…
Jesus completely buried our past:
Satan tries to dig up our bones:
Jesus changed our walk:
Satan uses whatever and whoever he can to place stumbling blocks in our way:
Jesus gives to us joy, unspeakable, and full of glory:
Satan use whatever and whoever he can to discourage us in our path:
Jesus put within our hearts a melody of peace and love:
Satan uses whatever and whoever he can to take away our song:
Jesus has given to us a promise of a home in Heaven someday:
Satan knows his destination is hell and continues to take as many with him as he possibly can:
The Bible teaches us that little is much when God is in it:
The Bible also says that just a small amount of leaven (which speaks of sin) lumps the whole loaf 🍞…
Let today be the day that we become an encourager and not a discourager:
Let today be the day that we build up and not tear down:
Let today be the day that what we do in secret will bring honor and glory to our God:
We have never been perfect, and today is no exception, but the Lord Jesus is all together lovely.
I’m glad I’m saved and safe in Jesus this morning: May God bless…
The Prodigal
Good morning everyone and hope you can say that it’s settled between you and the Lord and Heaven is your home.
Once again, I am reminded of the story in scripture concerning the prodigal son. After requesting his inheritance from his father, and receiving it, he spent all that his father gave him on riotous living.
After spending all of the money and@ having nothing left, he finds himself in a hog pen and begins to think about Home. After contemplating what to say to his father when he gets back home, he makes his way back to his father‘s house.
When he is yet a good distance from his home, to his surprise, his father has been waiting for him all the while and sees his son as he tops the hill. The Bible says that the father ran to meet his son and hugged him and gave to him a fatherly kiss.
The father hugged the son who still had the smell and the ugliness of the hog pen still on him. It did not matter to the father that his son was in this condition, only that his son had come home.
I am so thankful that about 10 years ago, the Lord cleaned me up from the hog pin of life and change my clothes and put a ring on my finger.
I know that I’m not much to look at to so many people on this side of eternity, but the Lord looked beyond my hog pen, life and save my soul.
I say GLORY!!!
God Really Does Know
This morning, I am sitting on the front porch and once again, the sun is rising up on the eastern sky at an azimuth of about 65°. You may ask why would you say something like that when we are not surveyors or astrologers or work for NASA? It’s just a matter of understanding that what we don’t know, God does. He is the One Who truly understands what’s going on around us. Everything is perfectly aligned according to His will. We can Trust Him this morning. God bless…
The Nailed Scarred Hand
There is an old gospel favorite that reminds us that even though we may feel alone in our travels in this life, we can trust God’s promise that He is always there with us.
2 Are you walking alone through the shadows dim?
Place your hand in the nail-scarred hand;
Christ will comfort your heart, put your trust in Him,
Place your hand in the nail-scarred hand
PLACE YOUR HAND IN HIS NAIL SCARRED HAND TODAY
Love 💕 each of you
The Father of all Lies
I want to first say good evening to everyone. I also want to get on here and say that the devil is a liar and of course he is the father of all lies.
As Christians, we’ll never know until we get on the other side of glory how many times the Lord has been working things out in our lives while all along Satan is in the background making you feel like it’s not worth it. The devil is so convincing that if you’re not careful and you don’t have your guard up, you will believe what he’s got to say from the very beginning. I might fail you and you may fail me, but God has never failed us. I have to remind myself at times that it’s not about me and it’s not about you but it’s everything to do with him. I don’t know if it stims from the Marines of long ago or perhaps my lifestyle in the past but sometimes I make it so hard to smile 😊… but I’m working on it. And what I can’t fix on my own, you can rest assured that God is still working on me. Well, that’s all I have to say about it. Have a great rest of your evening and may the Lord bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon YOU!!!
Btw… can you say it’s settled between you and The Lord and Heaven is your home 🏠?
He Is all You Need
Have you ever felt like your words are falling on deaf ears? Have you felt like your steps that were purposed to move you forward seem to be lagging behind and your not getting anywhere? Have you stepped up to be a positive influence on others and it seems to have turned into a problem.
The God that we serve is a problem solver. He is a Way Maker. He opens up the deaf ears. He heals the blinded eyes. He picks us up when we have fallen. He is beside us. He has before us. He is behind us. Indeed he is an ever present help in our lives when we are sure no one else is there. He is our guide. He is our anchor. He is why we make it to the other side. He gives to us wisdom and understanding that this world knows not of.
When the bright sun is rising up on the eastern skies, but your heart is sure it is a setting sun, it is His presence that brightens our Darkest Hour.
When we have failed ourselves and perhaps others, He has never failed us nor has he ever forsaken us.
Solomon of old said it this way: “He is altogether lovely.”
As my mother would say so many times down through the years, may the Lord bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you. Amen
What A Beautiful Sound
This morning as I was getting ready for the day, I’m getting myself together and everything seemed so quiet as it normally is. I reached down to get my glasses and remembered that I don’t have my hearing aids on, so I reach for then instead. As I place my hearing aids on, I immediately hear a bird chirping outside our window. What a wonderful sound to begin the morning. Just a small reminder that if the birds 🦅 are praising Him this morning, I should be as well. Glad 😌 I’m saved and on my way to Heaven! God bless all. 🙂
He Did Not Stagger
Romans 4:20
He (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
God had told Abraham to leave the land of his nativity and go to a place that God would lead him. God said:
Genesis 12:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
We find that Abraham obeyed God without any question and Abraham became the Father of many nations.
In reading this passage of scripture, my focus rested on Romans 4:20 where the bible says that Abraham “staggered not” at the promise of God through unbelief…
That word “staggered” brings to my mind someone who cannot hold himself up or is about to fall. But here in Scripture it says that Abraham did not stagger at all at the promise of God through unbelief. He believed God all the way and was strong in faith and gave glory to God in all that was accomplished in the way.
He (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief..
How many of us can say that?
It is believed that Abraham was born around 1948 years after creation. God had a plan for Abraham before he was born and God has a plan for you in 2026…
How much faith do we have in God’s plan for our lives and how much glory do we give God along the way.
The world has changed so much but God has never changed and we can trust Him to lead us through.
Let us “not stagger” at the promise of our God through unbelief.
WE CAN TRUST GOD!!!
In a tumultuous world
In a tumultuous world, we serve the God of comfort. Where the sound of bombs and sirens blasting is an everyday occurrence, we serve the God of peace.
In the midst of pain we serve the God of healing. When we can't seem to know where we're headed, He's the Way maker. When we've used up every possible means, He's the God of impossibilities. When love seems to be fading, He is Love. When we've gone that last mile, He carries us on.
I'm glad I know the Lord…
He Sees All
Proverbs 15:
3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
We live in a time that was prophesied in scripture so long ago that man will see those things that are good as bad, and those things that are bad as good. It is this blindness that has long captivated the people of this world and has caused man to see and covet those things they desire. This desire has not only become accepted, but has become as natural as breathing. If we were to hold our breath long enough in our natural state it certainly would cause us to pass out. Sin has become so natural that even though we have passed out in a spiritual sense, yet in the physical we continue in our sins as if there is no problem to worry about. I’m glad that God sees what we don’t. God sees the good and God sees the bad and the eyes of the Lord are everywhere. God is able to look beyond the physical and see the heart and judge accordingly. We judge by what we see while God judges according to what he knows. So many times in this life we react in despair while the God we serve reacts to repair. Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
I’m glad that we can trust God in all things and He can cause us see those right things and is able to lead us away from those evil things. Are we willing to let go and let God? The decision is ours to make.
Excuses
Good evening everyone, there is an old gospel song that says these words… Excuses excuses, you hear them every day and the Devil will supply them if Church you’ll stay away. Satan has convinced so many people that they are OK with making excuses as long as they’re honest about it. Much of the problem is that they have convinced themselves that it’s OK to make excuses, even though way down deep in their heart, they know that God is not pleased with their excuses. Don’t take me wrong I’m not trying to speak sinless perfection, but we are led by the Holy Spirit, who will never lead us in the wrong direction. The Old Testament is full of people who made excuses along the way, only to realize that, once again, that it has nothing to do with us and everything to do with Him. Once again I say that judgement day will be filled with excuses that will ultimately end badly. Folks, I read somewhere that in the Kings James Bible you’ll find the word “Excuse” or similar) 6 times. "Excuse": Used 3 times
"Excused": Used 2 times
"Excusing": Used 1 time. That equals 6 times in the Bible which 6 typically speaks of “man” in scripture. I’m glad the Bible teaches us that God took upon Himself a body so that in that body man could be redeemed by the precious blood of His Son Jesus Christ. There was no sidestepping and of course no excuses, just an obedient Heart that completely pleased the Father in all He did. If we need an excuse for anything, it will be to follow Him Who is Faithful and True. May the Lord bless you and keep you and cause his face to shine upon you.
Why Did Jesus Come?
The Lord would that all man would come to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord declared in his word that he did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. Jesus had been dealing with a lot of self-righteous hypocrites, who sadly enough was part of the religious sect. Jesus used two words to describe his purpose in coming to this earth. The first word that he used was “righteous”, and the second word that he used was “sinners”. He did not say righteous and unrighteous… He said, righteous and sinners. Jesus called it as it was, and he called the self-righteous of that day just as he saw them… Sinners.
There was a time for most of my life where I was religious, but I was lost and on my way to hell. I’m glad the Lord came to where I was and showed me my need for salvation through Christ Jesus. On that day, I went from a religious yet lost man to a righteous saint and it was all taken care of because Jesus loved a nobody like I was. I’ll never be able to understand why he loved me so but I sure am glad he did. You’ve heard it said before, and I feel the need to say it one more time that I love him because he first loved me. Today could be the day that Jesus takes us home and I pray that you are ready if he does. With that I say even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Be As Harmless as Doves
To strip a man of his dignity is like re-clothing a nude dude in a rude mood… Eventually, it will not turn out well.
1 Peter 1:15-16
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Matthew 10:16
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves
What a Gift
Their shall come a day when God’s people will rejoice and be glad and all of earths troubles will be past. The King of all the ages will be on His Throne and we will give Him Praise and Glory for He is Worthy. Blessed be Name of the Lord for He is Worth to be praised. I say to you this morning that Mercy and Truth have kissed each other. It is by Grace thru Faith I am Heaven bound with the hammer down. WHAT A GIFT!!!
Good morning, this is my view from my house looking toward to east. This is so beautiful, and as I think about that, I wonder what the clouds looked like on the third day when Jesus, the Son of Righteousness, arose from the grave with healing in his wings. Well Glory!!
It’s All About Him
I recently read a quote from someone that said these words “ What you do every single day creates the man or the woman that you are”..
You’ve also heard it said that it is never too late to change, but I would like to input right here that there is no better time than now to change if the road you’re heading in life is not deserving of respect.
From experience, I can honestly say that the older that you get the harder it is to change. That is why I appreciate what the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 12-1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth;
I really never knew what it was like to be able to change my old way of living until Jesus came into my heart at the age of 60 years old. I had lived all of those years, thinking that I was OK with God when in reality I was lost and undone without him, not knowing that I was perhaps only one breath away from dropping into hell. And by the way, any change in my life is not anything that I have done or anything that I’ve accomplished. It’s all because of the Lord Jesus Christ in my life.
Today I have peace in my heart because I know that I am not going to hell. I realize that I cannot change the past, but I know that with Jesus in my heart, my future is made right. I cannot afford to think too much about what other people think about me and my past because I do enough of that when I look in the mirror each day on my own.
My prayer each day is that someone will see Jesus in me, and that because of what they see, they will turn from their sin to the savior because of something they saw in my life. I do not deserve the goodness of God in my life that he would look my way and do for me what has been done when he saved my soul. Glory to the Lord for great things he had done. Praise his holy name.
Thy Word
“Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee” Psalms 119:11
In order to have the Word of God hidden in your heart, you must be born again. There must be a time where you have asked the Lord Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to come into your heart. There are many things within our hearts that we would rather keep hid from everyone else. That alone is human nature that we will try to prevent everyone from knowing the most personal things of our lives. The Psalmist made it very clear that he had the Word of God hidden in his heart.
I want to bring to your remembrance that when you enter into a dark room and flip on the light, the darkness goes away and the light appears because darkness and light do not mix. When the Lord Jesus comes into our heart, the darkness flees and is replaced with His Glorious Light.
No matter what you have hidden away in your heart, the God of all comfort is able to wipe your slate clean. Turn your life over to the Lord and let him be the change that you need in your life. Being born into the family of God is such a wonderful experience that is unlike any family relationship you have on this earth. Your family may let you down, your friends may let you down, your neighbors may let you down, your church might even let you down, but God will never let you down. You can trust God and my prayer is that today if you don’t know Jesus as the Lord of your life, that you’ll make that decision today to make him Lord and Savior of your life.
Salvation is only a prayer away, and it is an experience that only comes through the Lord Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless you and keep you and cause his face to shine upon you. Love you till the next time and may God bless.
