Insurmountable

In scripture in 2 Kings 8, We read where the enemy had surrounded the city to the point that it appeared that there was no escape for Elisha or his servant. It was early in the morning, and when the servant saw the mighty army that has surrounded

the city, he was overwhelmed, and he was frightened. In his fear, he looked at his master Elisha and said, oh no, what should we do?

The Bible records that Elisha begin to pray, and asked the Lord God to open up the eyes of his servant. Immediately the eyes of Elisha's servant was opened and he could see an "insurmountable" number of angelic warriors around the whole horizon in position and ready to protect Gods servant along with his own servant. Sometimes all it takes is for God to open our eyes that we can see what ordinarily we would not. My friends, how many times has the Lord sent help our way and we had no idea. We may have felt closed in on all sides with what appeared to be No Way Out. I know this may sound repetitious but God is never surprised by what's going on around us. Elisha had faith to call on God even in behalf of his own servant. I love what Jesus had said to Peter in that "I have prayed for you that your faith fail not." Folks, let's not throw in the towel yet cause God is still in control. We love you till the next time. God Bless
